Thoughts for the day
They say courage is the absence of fear, but I disagree. Someone may be fearless through ignorance or lack of comprehension. Courage for me is being afraid of something and conquering that fear.
Random I know... but its my Blog and I'll say what I damn well like!
Ethical behaviour. One could say that it is 'doing the right thing'. But again, normative pressure is such that someone may 'do the right thing' just because people expect them to. Expectation is a very powerful thing. Ethical and honourable behaviour to me is doing what's moral without the social pressure to do so, or in an environment where one may 'get away' with not acting in an ethical manner.
